We met Justin Timberlake once. True story. Spent, ooh, an hour with him. Our findings? Taller than you’d think, every bit as cute as you want and funny. Even had a couple of hilarious Britney stories. Anyway, enough about us and our fabulous showbiz lifestyles, and on to Palmer, Justin’s new movie coming next month on Apple TV+, by which time we’ll be in need of something. Oh and he said it was OK for us to call him Justin.
The could-happen-to-anyone story of a high-school football star who takes a wrong turn and ends up in the clink, Palmer actually follows the journey of said former high-school football star as he returns to a community that won’t forgive and forget and is promptly landed with a very dolly seven-year-old boy who probably wants to be a girl but who might just want some glamour in his life, either of which desires we’re totally behind. Can Palmer fight his own prejudices to give this sparkly little lad the support he needs or is he just another (albeit very cute) arsehole in a truckers cap? We think you can probably guess.
Anyway, it’s an interesting trailer and we have Apple TV+ so we’ll probably tune in. Just for old times’ sake
