Capri’s getting this hotel. Now we’re talking.

Oetker – off-of glorious hotels and baking powder – have just revealed their latest hotel, Hotel La Palma in Capri. It’s hot off the presses, it’s a reimagining of Capri’s original glamour hotel in Capri Village, it’s being plucked, tucked and moisturised as we speak by visionary designer Francis Sultana for an April 2022 opening, and it’s a partnership with the Reuben Brothers. Can you imagine the spec?

Sod imagining, look at the pictures! Set in the rich heartland of Capri Village just seconds from the Piazzetta – longer in those shoes - the 50-key property joins Oetker’s Masterpiece portfolio (The Lanesborough in London, Le Bristol in Paris, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc down on the French Riviera, names, names, names) and will feature a rooftop restaurant and bar with all the right views, a new pool deck, high-end fashion boutiques and a spa, as well as its own private beach club in Marina Piccola, which is the marina piccola on everyone’s lips round here. Throw in culinary direction by the double-Michelin-ed Gennaro Esposito and we’re talking Capri’s hottest new address. Gracie Fields wouldn’t have got a look-in.

Opens April 2022
