Ain't No Hairdo High Enough

Diana Ross Supertonice Mixes.png

Quite apart from anything else, this was to be the Summer of Ross. Glastonbury and a major tour, bringing the big dresses to the little people. Unfortunately, due to the lack of industrial strength wind machines, sorry, Covid-19, all Ross-related activity has had to be postponed... except for this little gem of remixed hits. Yes, she's had remixed hits out before, mostly not up to very high Ross standards but this little baby is gentle, has chosen the right songs and focuses on her voice instead of burying it under a pile of inappropriate beats. The man behind it is Eric Kupper, who has gone back to the vaults to use original masters, and the songs he's gone for include ballads like Touch Me in the Morning, Surrender and Ain't No Mountain High Enough (using the original 12" vocal, with lots of quite funny chat). And yes, there's The Boss, Love Hangover and Upside Down, so don't you worry about that.
